“The simple things are also the most extraordinary things, and only the wise can see.”
I love this quote by Paulo Coelho. I like to take it as a gentle reminder to focus on the simple, little things that bring us joy everyday – that first cup of coffee in the morning, taking a walk and noticing all the new buds on the trees, spending time with loved ones. The list goes on and on if we’re just mindful enough to stop, look and listen.
I hope you have a Simply Beautiful Sunday!

I read a book written by Janet Luhrs on simple living and loved it! There is something very grounding when living simple! The very act allows one to enjoy life in all aspects. Thank you and may you have a simply beautiful Sunday too
Hi Eva – I bought that book years ago and read it over and over again – it’s timeless!
What a beautiful thought for a Sunday morning Susan. Hope you have a peaceful, happy day X
Wishing you the same, Penny!
So very true. xx

That’s my childhood dream plant! With the pink and green leaves. I’ve been mesmerised by its beauty and colour since I first saw it in my friends home when I was age 12. I adore your posts Susan! Lovingly Sita
Thanks so much, Sita. I like my little house plant so much that I’ve decided to get a few for outdoors this year. I love the colors! xoxo
I agree wholeheartedly.
Thanks so much for stopping by, Gillian.
I couldn’t agree more…but I must admit it’s hard sometimes to really be mindful and live in the moment everyday….I’m loving the journey of trying though
